Mike and Virginia finally gave me the chance to run around Chapel Hill with my first Carolina Club wedding! She had an amazing dash of Carolina Blue shoes under a blazing Carolina sky!
The details make the wedding, and Allison’s wedding was full of special moments as she wed Keenan at Cary’s One Eleven Place. After the nuptials, we took formal portraits in her parent’s beautifully manicured front yard, and went on to Goji Bistro for a deliciously beautiful reception. The lucky color Red was the theme of the day, and I wish great fortune for Allison and Keenan!
Recently I was given the privilege of meeting Leigh Anne and her family in the park for some maternity portraits. Leigh Anne was absolutely radiant and Christine and I were able to capture some beautiful moments between mommy and daughter.
When we set up an engagement session, we like to customize it to highlight the couple how they really are. Brittany and Russell wanted to do something fun in the outdoors with their fur baby family, so we had to find something dog friendly and heat tolerant! It was a blisteringly hot day, fortunately, after starting for a delicious appetizer and a drink at the Federal in Durham, we headed out to Few’s Ford in the Eno River Park System for a very casual engagement session.

Stefanie and Josh chose to have an elegant and intimate backyard elopement due to the distance of Josh’s family. Fortunately, due to the wonders of modern technology, they were able to be there in spirit and look on via cell phone broadcast.
The officiant, Reverend Kayelily Middleton, of A Wedding Minister, provided both a lovely backyard garden location, and a touching and meaningful message. We went on William B. Umstead State Park, for a picnic reception and some playful portraits in the trees.
